You won't find a more stylish place to stay for this price - which accounts for the slightly out of the way location in a quaint neighborhood - than Andon Ryokan. This cross-breed offers the traditional-feel of a ryokan (a traditional tatami mat-floored inn), a designer hotel and the budget pricing of a hostel. Rooms are comfortable, with roll-out futon beds and up-to-date amenities like TV, DVD player and AC. You can even rent a private jacuzzi to relax after a day of hardcore sightseeing... ahhhhh.
