McSorley's opened its doors in 1857. although women weren't allowed in until the 1970s. It's a true drinker's bar offering beer and snacks for the lowest prices in Manhattan. Atmosphere is great, with sawdust on the floor and 150 years worth of blue collar history adorning the walls.
