It's unbelievable that Munich's fantastic urban oasis "Englisher Garten" is bigger than New York's Central Park! It offers lots of fun for everyone, from beer gardens, nudist areas, jogging paths, surfing (yes, surfing!) and horseback riding. You can wander over its 5 km paths by bike or by foot, or... you can ride a horse on its 12 km of equestrian trails. In the Reitschule (riding school) they offer riding courses and holiday lessons, as well individual rides on well taken care of horses. There's even an indoor riding hall in case of bad weather.
