The main activity in this fine park is walking, but there are picnic grounds and a large outdoor public pool. You can take a nice stroll and visit the remains of a large World War II bunker on the northern edge of the park, which the city tried unsuccessfully to demolish. It’s now a nice lookout point with an impressive view, especially to the north. Local technical mountain climbers have even converted the northern face of the bunker into a practice climbing wall, so feel free to join in!
